The Assessment Process

Upon receipt of your insurance policy we will:

Analyse and ascertain your potential loss after appraisal of the property damage

Compile and submit a thorough report of the claim to your insurance company

Liaise and negotiate with the insurance company’s loss adjusters (the insurer’s representative) to obtain the optimal settlement

Ensure the efficient issue of your settlement to your full satisfaction

The ultimate aim is to save you money, time and stress. We offer professional support and guidance from the outset, and we will be on hand to offer advice every step of the way.

Devine Claims Consultants use our experience and expertise to ensure that you, the policy holder, are properly represented and are awarded everything that you are entitled to by your insurance company.

Your Entitlements as a Consumer

As a consumer, you are entitled to get a second opinion from your own independent loss assessor. You do not have to accept the insurer’s proposals and can appoint us at any time. Again the best time to appoint us as your Loss Assessor is when the damage occurs; we will report it to the insurance company and take from there to your satisfaction.

Many policyholders do not realise that they are entitled to have a registered loss assessor professional represent them and compile their detailed claim.

Your insurance claim is based around the policy documentation. This documentation is open to interpretation. At Devine Claims Consultants, we guarantee a proper assessment of your policy. This interpretation will be presented to your insurance company and a settlement will be negotiated. We do everything in our power to maximise your entitlements under your policy.

Our Fees

Devine Claims Consultants fees are based on a percentage of the gross settlement, that being 10% + VAT as standard. We do not ask for upfront payments, instead, we tend to wait until you have received your settlement payment. Settlements that we achieve on your behalf normally more than offset the cost of our fee. Devine Claims Consultants reserve the right to amend this fee at our discretion due to considerations of duration of claim and complexity.
